hi, anyone know what is the best way to create this look in revit is? a larger slat runs around the outside perimeter of the infill. Is there a way to make the wall so it can be adjusted and stretched without needing to move individual battens?

so ideally, a wall or object, that has an individual batten profile for the  boarder perimeter and an additional profile for the horizontal battens that are spaced equally inside the triangle.

Any ideas would be great

You can do multiple extrusions in one in-place component.. i would not do this.. i would use a material or paint fir the elevation and use a detail component for the section.

Tutorials on create a family?  Look at this http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=14996975  Its from 2011 but it still applies through this release.
