Hi Guys, does any one know how I would add a lantern to an exsisting roof or should I have made it as one roof, if so how do I go about doing this eg roof by footrint etc.
I have attached a image of my problem, basicully I want a roof lantern on top of the conservatory.
Any help at all much appreciated.

there could be two defferent ways to make lanter, i guess.
one is making a lantern family, that's not easy but can make perfection.
the other is using conceptual mass and convert to curtainwall, that is easy but not recommanded if you want the result high quality.

make as 2 roofs.
put in reference plane at base of lantern level, make this top of bottom roof and base of lantern roof.
once made, join roofs.
