Open the family and your project and in the family click load into project.  Your not very clear on the problem, what is happening when you try to load it? Do you get an error?  Did you check to see if its in your project browser?

We don't know what loading process you are trying to do.  If you have the project open and the family open at the same time, simply pick load into project while in the family.

teafoe beat me to it..............

I got the air handling unit working but now I'm trying to get the in wall AC unit to work.

I open the downloaded drawing in revit then I click "load into project" and nothing happens.

I clicked "component" and its not there, I have changed my visibility and nothing.

I don't get any error messages either.

You need to learn about family categories.  Not every family is built correctly so even though it says AC unit, it may be in an odd family category.  So if you have the family open, check out what category it is in.

Now that you know what category, look for that in your project browser.  If loaded - it will be there.  Obvoiuusly, if it is in the wrong category for what you are trying to place, it will not show up unless you are in the correct Revit process.

If the family is in an in-correct category, you can change that in the family.

Go into your project browser in your PROJECT. Click on Families and right click and search for your family by name to see where it is.

Either you did not look in the correct place or the family is not loaded in the project.

Look here in the family.

I was reading the previous comments, and I was able to load the family into my project and find it in the project browser, but now I'm not sure how to insert it into my building. Would you happen to have any suggestions?
