Hi,

i am doing a parking garage in revit 2012 with sloped floors and I have been trying to figure out how to connect a concrete beam to a concrete floor slab so when i changed the shape of the slab the beam follows the slab. 

any help on this would be great.

You mean change elevation of the slab or change thickness of the slab?  You would use a reference plane and set your floor and beam on the reference plane so if the reference plane changes the floor and beam will follow.

thanks for the reply,

i think one of the problems is that i have a slab that slopes in multiple directions therefore the beam does not have a common reference plane to host to. i would like to place a beam and it be hosted by the slab and when i change the elvation or the thickness it would respond accordingly
