I created a sweep in a componenet and I added some reference planes and aligned the face of the sweep profile to a plane but the whole sweep moves and so the sweep cannot be flexed. Is there a way to flex a sweep in a component?

Need more information. What are you trying to create? Are you doing this all as an in-place component? Attach some images of what you are trying to accomplish.
