Hi there,

i've a problem with the system classification with cooling pipes. We have a calculating interface with a pressure loss calculation program but it doesn't work because when i generate cooling pipes the main system classification of these pipes is cold water? The only way is that I create heating pipes and change the colours but thats only drawing with manipulating :-) Is there a way to create main system classifications for cooling?

The Piping System Classification is hard coded to the 'Piping System Type'. You just need to make a new Piping System type.

You can change or specify the Pipe System and that will in turn change it's Classification. But you cannot just change the classification directly without changing the pipes System.

Navigate down in the Project Browser to 'Piping Systems' and then open up that category to see all the existing systems.

You just need to 'Duplicate' a Piping System that has the correct System Classification already hard coded.

Then just rename that system to what ever you want. Now you have a new System with the correct Classification.

Now when you start the pipe tool look to the properties palette and specify your new Piping System and note the Classification changes with it.

I think that should do it.
