I'm using 2013 and have hundreds of doors in my project.  I started the door schedule today and added the To Room Name, To Room Number, From Room Name and From Room Numver fields and every single one is blank with no pull-down options.  The doors and rooms do not appear to be linked at all.  I have standard swing doors, curtain wall doors, overhead doors, just about every kind imaginable, and not one door is linked to a room.  I've searchecd through the older threads and could only find instances where some doors wouldn't reference the room.  My rooms are all enclosed, my doors and rooms are both created in the new construction phase, I've used these fields at other firms on lots of other door schedules, but no one at my current firm has used them. Any ideas on how to fix this?  I'm think it might be a problem with the project parameters, but I'm not sure what to look for.

First, do you understand how the door to / from works?  You have to pay attention to that.

Look at the following image.  The key to controlling to/from is the side of the wall the door is placed from.  That side will be the “TO” room.  You can then reverse the door swing if you need to.

So assuming you have that correctly done, there MUST be a room on the side you expect a reading from.  In other words, don't expect it to say exterior (or something like that) on an exterior door, unless you place a room outside your building called exterior.

Do you really have rooms in your project and they are in this project (not a link)?

Check your door schedule settings for phase and phase filter.  Also, do you have a view template applied?  If so, then check all of the settings there including worksets and design options.
