Hey everyone,

I have a fairly simple problem: I'd like to shows the cut pattern of my columns on top of my wall (on is in black solid hatch and the other is in grey solid hatch). So far I have tried: "Override Graphic in View" and editing the properties of the family itself with no success.

I don't really understand your question. Is the wall cutting through your column????. If so then join the column to the wall. The column then automatically cuts through the wall.

Hey

I attached a picture showing the problem I'm facing. I'd like for the entire cut of the column to show "on top" of the cut of the wall.

There are two things you can do to solve this problem. You can either split (SL) the wall into the parts and delete the middle portion or join the column to the wall. I prefer the second option. The join tool can be found in the modify tab. Hope this help you.
