Hi All
Is there a way I can get the wall cladding to show correctly in Section ?
When I have a wall with claddingon the exterior and I take a section through it, the section just shows a smooth exterior finish. What I'd like to get it to show is the correct section of the cladding profile (Dutch lap etc) instead of a smooth face.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Walls in revit essentially have a flat face. The only was i can suggest to do this is to add a profile wall sweep to the family. But personally i would just create a detail component and place it on all the sections where this cladding is visible.
Hope this helps,
Chris.
