I have a simple family I built to insert a recessed aluminum handle into a cabinetry element (see attached), I want to be able to change the profile of the handle using a family parameter to select from a range of profiles I have loaded into the family. I have made a profile type parameter which picks up the various loaded profiles however I can't make my sweep use this parameter to select the profile it uses. Any suggestions?

Matt

you can't use two profiles in one sweep..

just make two sweeps using each profiles, and use 'visible' parameter for make types.

going to bump this because this can't be the best answer. ok, that might work if you have two different profils, but what if you have an indefinite amount? and it is necessary to set up a system whereby others can easily and quickly add to it.
