Hi,

I have a specific requirement that when my client inputs the dimensions of the box he wants, he should get the number of instances of a family of specific size that fits into that box. How can I make it possible in Revit? Eagerly waiting for your reply.

Thank you

Im not following.  Please explain a little better.  Right now it sounds like you have a family that is a box and you want the box to have a label in it that reads how many of the same family are in the project?

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. Actually it is not like that. The family itself is actually box shaped. But we want to fit in many such families inside one very big box whose dimensions, the client want to provide each time he uses it. The client must be displayed  how many such families would fit it into one such box when he gives the size of the big box. The family boxes can be arranged horizontally as well as vertically.Hope this clarifies your doubt.

Thank you
