The linked model will use the hosted model materials of the same name.

'transfer project standards'  allows you to import materials, filled patterns, etc. from a linked model.

I'm having the issue where the cut pattern does not display no matter if the materials are shared, the graphics are overridden, or view is set to medium or fine. How else can you make the pattern from the linked model show? I'm almost out of options. Thanks.

Solved.

A: transfer project standards as was mentioned.

B: Columns in Structural model were set to "pre-cut when loaded." Uncheck this option and override materials.

C: Reload model and viola!
