so ive been working with revit for about 5 monthes now, and ive had this same problem multiple times. when i delete a wall on the first fllor it delets my seocnd floor wall. how do i modify my first and or second floor walls without messing with my other levels?

Are you using a stacked wall?  If so, then that is where the problem is.  If not, then the wall extends higher than one story.  If you need the wall only on the second floor, then place it there.
