I am a student learning Revit 2013. I started a commercial project on the default project template. We are now moving into the MEP phase of the project, and I am having trouble getting to the mechanical views to come up in my project browser. Do I have to start a new project to get them to come up? Or is there some setting I can use to get them?

Thanks,

Ray

I don't understand what you aren't getting.  If the views are made and put under the mechanical discipline in the properties they will automatically go under the Mechanical discipline in the Project Browser.  Maybe attach an image of what's going on (or what's not going on).  Also under View>User Interface click on Browser Organization and make sure Discipline is checked under the Views tab.

when you create copies of your plans for the MEP, there should be MEP view templates to apply to these views that will set things like the discipline for you. make sure you sort your bowser by discipline.

First of all use the right click 'search' tool to see if the views are actually listed in the browser.

Next check the PB organization settings. There could be a 'filter' being applied or set to only display views that are placed on sheets.

Organizing the PB by discipline is a good idea. Each viewis has a discipline property. In the REVIT options there is a setting for the 'default discipline' when making new views.
