I hate when people compare Revit to Autocad but one thing I do wish is that when viewing a sheet, the background area would be grey so you could easily see what is not fitting on the sheet.  Our titleblocks do not have borders, just tick marks at the corners and sometimes views accidently extend off the top of the sheets.  So far my best work around has been adding an on/off type parameter for a border that we are supposed to turn off before printing.  The problem is that sometimes we forget to turn the border off.

I'm interested to know how others handle this or does most everyone just use border lines around their entire sheets.

Thanks,

Tim

Add invisible lines to your title block.  Then simply by rolling over the title block, you can see the limits your views should be inside of.

Or, you can add a guide grid to your sheet that shows these limits.
