Whats with these blue lines. they wont go away on any view?

 

 Also. here it is loaded into a project.

the lines are thick as hell! what gives?

Those are not blue lines.  That is the material color of those muttins after the light goes through your colored glass.

 

You contorl all of your lineweights through your manage object styles settings or over-rides in VG settings.  So if you don't like them - change them.

Sorry here is a better image of the library part in the editor. why are tyhe extrusions that I drew so thick lined? blue.

it then shows in the model as thick black lines (the previous pictures.)

I cant choose what type of lines are being drawn on the extrusion. they start out pink construction...then when I finish the extrusion, the lines are #6 thick.

Look in the family editor at the category for those extrusions.  The linetype for those is set in your project's object style for that category - projection. 

 

The color and lineweight in the family editor is set in the manage/object styles - this only sets them in the editor.
