Revit Structure 2013

When I opened the model I detached it from central, I also detached and discarded worksets. I am still unable to select the grids in plan view and some model elements in 3d view...

secondary problem: in the same model, I can't see the section cuts symbol that i make in plan. even when i copy an existing section cut symbol it disappears once i place it.

shed your revit wisdom on me, thanks

if you cant select an object check and see if there are any design options.

for the section cuts it just sounds like they are turned on in visiblity and graphics

View scale may also be too small to show sections.  Change to a large scale and see if they show.  If so, you can change the "show in scales larger than" settings.

You guys are awesome.

I found Design Options and was able to edit things that were "locked". I have never used Design Options so hopefully I can become more familiar with them.

There was a filter for "hiddedn unsheet views" that makes it so that no new cuts/elevations/detail symbols will appear unless i have placed them on a sheet. Again, something I am unfamiliar with but may be learning about with this project.

Thanks again.
