Hi people, I have been having a weird problem when inserting a dwg, either as a link or as an impor,t in the revit 2013, and it consists in a dephased appearance of the lines. In earlier versions when this happened, I just exploded the hatches and polylines and blocks and the problem disappeared, but now it persists yet doing the same. Any tip?

Never heard the term "dephased" so please post something to help us understand.

ALWAYS - Try not to explode DWG's.  Do that in a clean up project - then convert all the text, dimensions, lines and fill patterns to your standard.

well I mean: moved. Lines out of their place. (desfasadas, corridas) Misplaced. In another post someone called it "dancing lines". And by the way: using that post I refer to, seems to work. Im gonna comfirm later. Thank you Hub for your immediate responses.

It is incredible how one can ask a question to the whole world at the same time just from your desk. Thanks again.

I'm having a similar problem and I to do not know how to explain the problem. I like the "dancing lines" description. Did you find an answer? Is it something to do with having to convert polylines to line segments in the dwg before importing?

I have come across this problem and the lines dance around as you zoom into the object.

The cause is that your linked dwg model is not centred to co-ordinates 0,0,0.

If you amend the linked cad file to the co-ordinates then Revit will be able to handle the files correctly.
