I created a a detail view of brickwork that had a solid filled region with 75% transparency over it to mimic shading to place on a sheet. Revit wanted me to rasterize the viewport so it could print it, and so I did. The problem is that EVERYTHING on the view was rasterized, and not just the shading/transparency filled region. The result was that everything in that viewport came out pixelated and in halftone.

Once I saw the problem, I took the transparency out in order to avoid the problem... but after creating another Bluebeam PDF the viewport remained rasterized even without the transparency. This is with Vector printing on. I'm not really sure what I need to do in order to generate a PDF of that viewport so it's not rasterized.

Thanks in advance for the help.

We have replaced revit shadows with filled regions in R2013 and printed PDFs with only vectors. In other words, no raster data is on the PDF, after the shadows were turned off.
