Good morning
I am attempting in Revit to model a complex geometrical faceted ceiling for a theatre renovation. What is the easiest way to perform this? We originally modeled in sketchup by have a lot of trouble importing it into the model and even more trouble editing after the fact. Is there a simple way to define the size and individual facet points of each triangular surface??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Terry

One solution is a family with the generic adaptive model. Create the floor plan with points and reference lines, make surfaces, then lift the points that define the surfaces, and load into project. Since there is no "ceiling by face" you will need to use "wall by face" or "roof by face" to materialize the ceiling.
