Rather than using the very inaccurate Area/length formula (when there are any doors or windows) simply click the wall chainging it to a part. Select the wall giving it a distinct type mark so you can filter it in the schedule. Then create a parts list that has the height parameter. When finished in your properties box change the parts visibility from "show parts" to "show original" turning them back into walls, now when you move the wall the schedule automatically updates as well.
This was done in 2013 but I am sure the previous versions are similar (:
