I first made a concrete beam with the Structural Framing template. That didnt work out that well because the beams dont want to cross into one another. So i searched the internet for a solution and it said i should make a beam within the Generic Model line template. That worked out fine and i can place the beam where i want. The problem is that the analytical model is not intact. Been trying to find out how i can create a analytical line within the model. I have changed "Family Category and Parameters" to Structural framing. When using the model line tool i cant change that one to "Analytical line". I can just choose the Structural Framine [Projection] line. What do i do wrong? Attached my family model

How about just starting with an existing OOTB beam family, do a saveas and make your changes ?

I never recommend making structural / analytical families from scratch.
