I am wondering why when I draw a wall and set the base offset to 0' 0" and the top offset to unconnected at 12' it will reset

when I draw another wall.It seems to take my previous top offset and make it negative as the bottom offset when I start a new wall. Just wondering

if anybody has any ideas. Thanks
