Should I develope a shared parameters file for use in ALL projects or should shared parameters be project specific?
Maybe everyone can exchange what Shared Parameters they have set up and for what reason. I'll start:
Name: Height Offset From Level
Type: Text
Usage: For adding Ceiling Height to Room Tag

I'm just looking into shared parameters to see if it would allow me to provide the room name that specific windows are located in the window schedule so that i may extract the required light/vent & egress using the area function. sorry i can't provide any insight to your dilemma but i'd be curious on how you added the ceiling ht. to the room tag as it may give me a jump start. tx

I just created a new parameter for ceiling height and manually type in the ceiling height I want for the room. Then I ad a label to the Room tag that links to the new ceiling height parameter. I would prefer to be able to use the ceiling height parameter that's used on the ceiling tag (in essence creating a hybrid room tag/ceiling tag) but I couldn't figure it out.
