Hi, I'm using Revit 2011 and having an issue with two rooms where the boundaries do not correspond with the walls (see attached images, Rooms 108 & 113). I have not drawn any room boundary lines, but intend to use the walls enclosing the rooms to define the area.  You can see in images 01 and 02 that the room does not extend all the way to the exterior walls.  I have checked to make sure the rooms are bounded on all sides, top and bottom and they appear to be.  Images 03 & 04 show that these rooms have floors and ceilings.  Any ideas?

First - Rooms are level based and room bounding elements must intersect the level.

In your case, a basement wall must be bounding the room.

Did you hide something?

Are you phasing this somehow?

Thanks!  I think I figured it out.  Looks like it had something to do with the level it was associated with.
