Hello,

I am working in Revit Architecture 2013. I have various wall profiles/heights that I applied wall sweeps to to show coping. I am trying to figure out a way to make the wall sweep go over the corner or miter. How can I do that?

Thank you,

Margaret Frank

When you add wall sweeps, continue the process - don't start over on each wall.  Then they will miter automatically.

So - delete all but one sweep, then pick that sweep and select add wall - on your options bar.

Some of my walls are angled though. If I didn't model those in-place, I wouldn't get the angle, right?

There are more than one way a wall can be angled.....

Obviously, if you can't place the sweep on the wall because it is angled (whatever way you mean) then the automatic miter at the corner can't happen.  You have to model whatever you want.

I have walls that slope downwards. How would I go about modeling this manually?

I suppose you mean the wall is not vertical - correct?

You can do an in-place sweep.  And an in place can have its path set to wrap a corner.
