Hey yall,
I'm using Revit '11. I was wondering if there is any way to make surface (model) patterns specific to instances oppose to types. Specifically, I want to align wall tiles to a particular corner of a room. But if that wall runs along a series of rooms, how can I make the surface material pattern align in the corner of each and every room. As of now I have a wall that runs along a corridor and on the other face of the wall a bunch of rooms. In my interior elevations I want the wall panels to start in a specific corner but I am having to do multiple fill regions in every interior elevation because the pattern is designated along the wall type, not the instance. Any way to change this? Or am I doomed to multiple fill regions with little holes in them to allow keynote to identify material?
Thank you!

We use a thin wall for tiles and is placed only in the room, aligned agaist the base wall and joined to it. That thin wall is usually a stacked wall because it may be base - wainscot cap rail instead of full height tile.
