Please share your ideas about showing vapor barrier below slab and grade beam in sections.

I have tried to add membrane layer for the slab but then a finish layer needs to be added below it with thickness and revit doesnt show membrane layer in section.

We don't model this layer at all.  We use the traditional method of showing it - add a detail line ... sometimes a dashed line pulled off the face so it can be seen and noted.

depends on what scale your sections are at, 1/50 we dont show it as its only ga section, at 1/20 1/10 1/5 yes but as a detail line offset from the surface
