Does anyone have any tips with regards to creating a Revit Template? I think I have most of the major bases covered, but I would like to hear about little things that most people overlook? Thanks Tim Mailloux Tecton Architects

Sorry I wasn't more clear. I guess I am reffering to a file / project template.

My advice is don't get too caught up in hte perfect template craze that seems to be out there in the Revit community. I would get some of the basics down like text, dims, views etc, but don't worry about trying to get it all covered. I find things all the time that I add to our template. The beauty of Revit is that with transfer project standards you can update the template at any time and propogate those changes to current projects. The best thing to do in my opinion is jusp in with both feet and start doing real projects and the template will develop itself based on your real world experience. Tom
