IN THE ATTACHED IMAGES, PLEASE SEE THE SETTINGS BEING USED AND THE OUTCOME.  THE RAILING/BALUSTER PANELS ARE PART OF THE SWITCHBACK STAIR AND THE DIAGONAL BALLUSTER RUNS BEYOND THE LAST TREAD AND MAKE AKWARD SHAPES.

The program doesn't always do what "you" want.  ... And sometimes you can't build what "you" want.  Read all of the similar threads and look for how the program works.  In most cases, you can adapt your process by using multiple railings and or in cobination with special families including in-place.
