On the initial loading of the Architect's model to my Structural model I made sure that origin to origin was selected. We have exchanged models a number of times without a problem. This last model exchange I reloaded the latest architect's model using the "Manage Links" > "Reload From" commands and the architect's lastest model reloaded prefectly as usual. The problem is the architect emailed me to say that my model is not lining up with theirs and its off in plan. What did they do?? I opened my structural revit model and exported a floor plan to an Autocad DWG file. I did the same for the architect's model also. I opened both Autocad drawings and found that the origin (0,0,0) lines up prefectly. PLEASE HELP.

Once models are linked, how they were aligned and their origins don't matter.... and ...The model can be moved. 

If your linked architect's model is in the correct place in your file, they I would think the architect moved your model in their file.
