Im currently working on a rather large project in which I have a main central file and them separate revit files linked and loaded into the project. Each of these files are building and have color schemes attached to them in the central file. The Issue i have come across is when we recently updated from revit 2012 to 2013. In 2012 the color schemes would stay the same if we unloaded the linked buildings to work on them. In 2013 after we unload the building, work on it, and place on the load onto the central file, the building comes back in with a color scheme that is different than the one that was on the central file. lets say some some areas in the building were red and some yellow, now they load back in purple, green, orange, blue, etc.My dilemma is that they dont remain the same like they used to in 2012. Has anyone else gotten this error or figured out a solution?

Let me explain you how I put color scheme for my linked models:

In general I am not doing too much effort in the host file, instead I am creating the color scheme in the linked model itself then when you link it to the host file do what I did in the attached file, then you will have each view in the host file appears same as how it appears in the linked model itself for each building.

but for what I understood from what you said if I am not mistaken, that you created the color scheme in the host file for each linked model, and I am not sure that it is the best way, it might cost you more time.

Best Regards.
