Hello, I am using Revit 2013.

I have created this roof shape by extruding a profile from a workplane, but I can't figure out how to control how it connects to the rest of the roof. It continues on into this room, instead of stopping at the joint of the two roofs. How would I be able to stop the extrusion at the roof joint?

If the ridge of that roof is flat, it can be made with the remainder of the roof and that is your better solution.

Thank you for your promt reply! Despite working with it myself and trying to understand what you said, I am still at a loss as to how to make that roof shape. Would you mind elaborating, please?

I cheat a little but it can be so small it doesn't show.  See views.

No need to cheat, break the line then use the "Slope arrow"

Your right Ty,  I hade forgotten that.  I broke the line initially and could not get it to work.  I forgot the arrow.
