I have the following problem in RAC 2012...please see PDF's attached. The wall needs to follow the outline of the stair...part of the underside of the stair is on the exterior...how can I

1) add/enclose the stair with a angled wall - basically a wall that follows the stringer/stair to the next level2) the bottom of the stair is on the exterior/enclosed with plaster finish...How do I enclose the bottom of the stair with plywood/plaster to match existing?

In that section/elevation view create a "Ref. Plane" then attach the wall to that ref. plane

I tried but I'm getting ERROR message.."can't keep elements joined" see attached pix.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Got it...here's how I did it in case anybody runs into the same issue

1. Draw reference plane in Elevation

2. Draw wall in floorplan

3. In Elevation pick wall - then click "Edit Profile" under Mode in the Modifying command

4. The wall will appear in magenta lines - Now you're able to edit the outline of the wall.

5. Finish
