I am having Problems Creating void forms. I go to roof by extrusion- "create form" - "void form",in 3d view, I pick my plane/ surface to draw to, and cannot seem to pick lines/ lines do not highlight/display as higlighted pink lines as they usually would in sketch view. And a warning appears "none of the objects created are visible in view, check vis/graphic settings"I Have checked visibility/ graphic settings and lines etc are all turned on. Any idea's?
I need to creat a void form, so i ca then place roof by face. It is a wedge shaped bit of roof I need to model, where a flat roof and sloped roof meet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Once you are in "Roof by Extrusion" how can you go to "Create form" ? Is either one thing or the other. Roof by extrusion does not create solid voids and "Create form" does not create roofs by extrusion. You are confusing the usage of these tools.

Hi, Thanks for getting back t me so soon, really appreciate it. I have attched a print screen of the type of junction i mean and where I need to create an area of roof...can you please advise how I should approach this...whether I should do a roof by extrusion? or whether I shuld create a "void form" and then apply a wall to face for this area. (only problem there is that it would be classed as a wall and not a roof.

Sorry, I look at the image, but it is not clear to me what the final goal is. Maybe you could draw a sketch to illustrate this better?
