Hi! I am using Revit Arch. 2013. I cant get my crosshatch to show in my CMU walls in plan view. I created a 2x4 wall with gyp and it hatches.
Thanks,
Rob

Not enough information.
View setting - I assume medium or fine.
View scale ?
How intense is the hatch?
Is the proper hatch assigned to the material in the wall?
Does the view cut the wall?

Hi! Here is some additional info.: (see attached screen shot)
The view setting (I tried all three coarse, medium, and fine)
The wall is an 8" CMU or block wall (its 25' tall)
The View Range is default Top at 7'6" cut at 4'2"
The hatch is the standard diaginal
The scale of the drawing is 1/8" = 1'
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
Take care,
Rob

I think the hatch isnt showing because the new walls are drawn over an existing CAD file. Is there a way to make the hatch lines come above the CAD line work?
Thanks,
Rob

You are setting a coarse fill pattern. It will only show in a coarse view - not fine or medium.

Thanks! I think my issue has to do with drawing a new Revit wall over top of the imported AutoCAD wall. When I draw a new wall in an area without existing walls they work fine.
Take care,
Rob

I changed the View Template from 'none' to 'architectural plan' and all was good.

This issue deals with phase filters. Go to manage, phsaing, and change the phase that you want the material to show up in to by category. In my case, I am showing a plan with existing and new walls but the materials didn't show up in either. I changed the new to by category and now when I specify previous and new in the properties pallete the materials are shown on the new walls by category. You can also apply this to the view template so that when you apply it to view it changes automatically.
