Ok, so stairs going up, fine they cut off nicely. Stairs going down not so much. The stairs below have a turn so they don't track with the stair going up. View depth is set to current floor (0') but you still see the whole stair going down. What's the deal?

Do you have an underlay on? Is the floor above actually covering the stair below?

Nope, no underlay on. Stairs do overlap but as you can see in the image, the stair going down has a 90 deg turn in it as it gets toward the bottom. I don't want to see the stair down there because it looks confusing.
