I am using Revit Arch 2012. I have placed a curtain wall in a wall, when I go to try nad put a door within a panel, I do not see the door I loaded within the drop down box in the properties. Any idea why? The toughest thing for me is to jump into a model that someone else has built. We laser scanned the model and now they want it verified. So, I noticed a missing curtain wall and now have this problem. Any help is appreciated, if you need more info, let me know.

Thanks in advance

Did you use a curtain wall door.  You have to select the panel in the curtain wall and replace it with a curtain wall door.  These doors are special and they adjust in size to the panel size.

Yes, I have loaded the curtain wall door, but when I select the panel and go to the drop down to change it, the door I lodaed is not in there. I dont know if it's settings or what, I didnt set anything up as the client does not want us to change anything.

Are you sure?  Scroll through the whole list that appears.  The door may not be listed near your panel.  It may be listed above all of the walls.

If it isn't there then either it is NOT a curtain wall door or you did not get it loaded.

Why are you adding a door if your not suppose to change anything?  Anyway I would have to assume you did not actually insert the correct door.  Are you using an out of the box curtain wall door? What is your process for trying to insert the door?  You do not insert it like a regular door.  You need to click on the curtain wall glass section you want changed, unpin it and select the correct type from the properties pulldown.
