I am trying to apply a wall sweep following a video tutorial. But it will not let get past the point where I select apply the sweep, see attached screen shot.

Correction, you are trying to redefine a wall by adding a wall sweep.

The problem is probably somehow affected by an instance of this wall already in the model.  If that is not the case, then we need to see more of your process that you have hidden in that pdf.  Also what the profile is like.

OK here are a couple of more images as you asked. A screen shot of the profile & a screen shot of the profile made from a profile family template.

I have fixed my problem. The profile I created was not a good fit for the wall I was trying to modify, it was way too big. I was following a U tube tutorial & did not give it much thought. So with a profile that was much closer (the correct size for the wall) to the wall in question I followed the steps required to do the job & voila! it worked. And it is good to be able to view it in the viewer when one is adding the sweep to the wall. thanks Hub for your reply to my query.
