I am a newer user to Revit, and i am using 2013.  We want to add a second line of text to our View Tags for our Interior Elevations for a current project, and I am SURE that there is a wa to edit it to make this possible but I cannot figure it out.

I attached an example of what we want to be able to do . . . this example is from a recent project we did in AutoCAD.  See how we have the second line of text under the view tag for the SIM note . . . how can we do that with Revit?  Currently we are just placing text under the View Tag, but then if we need to move things around you have to remember to grab both the view tag and the text.

Thanks!

Edit the view tag family and add a text parameter to it in that location.

I am in the edit funtion right now, and I don't see where I would be able to add that second line of text.

I have an "Edit Label" with parameters but none of the parameters are for an extra line of text.

Like I said, I am new to Revit . . . just took a basic training course and now and just using it on a daily basis for the first time.

Tag parameters can only be shared parameters.  Looks like this is your next assignment.

Read your HELp on how to create and use these special parameters.  Then you can fix your level family.
