I wonder how you guys make a detailed railings plans...
I have already made several sheets for my doors and windows with legend views, where I insert the family directly on the legend so I can have my door or window in plan and elevation, adding text notes, tags, specifications, etc... Is there a way to work this way with railigs?
Thanks !!

We detail railings like anything else. Depending on the complexity of the railing we might just use a drafting view to save some time instead of actually modeling the railing.

I don't see any way to do what you want. Railings are made from profiles that are swept along a path. No just a single, defined entity.
We just detail a section.
