I am tyring to  model an entry stair system with circular stairs that has an attached wall below. The only way I seem to be able to create a wall below the stairs close to the shape of the bottom side of the  stairs is by creating a reference plane and attaching the wall to the reference plane. The only problem with it is that the only way I know to make the ref. plane for this  is straight on in elevation, so the walls do not perfectly mimic the shape of the stairs because the reference plane is flat and the stairs are not.

Is there an easy way or any way to do this?
