So can anyone make reccomendations to me for a laptop to run these programs! I am soon getting Photoshop & Illus 6.

For presentations I do not fully render in Revit but will do coloured camera images then work them up with Illustrator & Photoshop. I probably would not buy a totally high end laptop depending on price. Would I do ok with my budget at $2,000 Aus/US. I want to be able to do work at an office part of the week & carry on at home later.

I will be scoring goals soon, I'm in the back line at the moment!

Cheers Dermot

Are you looking to build a laptop or go out and buy one?  I don't think you are going to find a specific answer, most likely just what type of hardware you would "need".  The Revit Kid has a good post on it for Revit.  You want to look at minimum requirements for the other products as well.

I have Dell Precision Laptops which run all those programs very well.  Make sure you have enough RAM for both the machine and the graphics card.  Autodesk also has a section on their website that lists graphics cards that are recommended for their software.  You should be able to get close to that $2,000, but Dell also has very good financing usually.

Good luck
