Could you please advise on the best way to work with external walls where the internal finish varies.
For example if you have a cavity wall build up with the internal face being plasterboard on block work. How do you deal with a room where you don't want a plasterboard finish, instead you may just want to paint the block work. Is it better to draw the internal plasterboard finish on all walls as a separate wall and joining geometry rather than making it part of the cavity wall system?

You can do a thin wall as you suggested or you could have seperate exterior cavity walls with/without the interior finish.

also is the split face option. just draw an elevation in the room and when done drawing split face, paint it what you want it to look like.
