I have an IFC file that I need to import in to CAD. How can I insert an IFC file into AutoCAD MEP 2011?

I'm not sure about this. Beyond imporrting and linking DWGs into REVIT I haven't 'used' autocad in over 8 years.

Most people here are REVIT user but you may get some information regardless.

You will get much better results at www.augi.com under the AutoCAD MEP group.
