Hi everyone 

I am new to revit and i found when i place exterior windows and doors they are scheduled separated in doors and windows. since we have different contractor to provding exterior doors and windows. and all the interior doors. is there anyway to scheduled all the exterior windows and doors together. and maybe elevating them together?

Doors and windows do not share the same parameters so this is really not feasible.  But you can add a parameter to your doors (Maybe like location? - Interior / exterior) and filter a schedule accordingly.  Then place both schedules on the same sheet.

 

Doors and windows can be "elevated" using legend components.

It would be possible to elevate your doors and windows with replacement window work by hiring a single professional contracting company with a good background of experience in such work. Have you heard of Champion Windows and Doors? They are punctual and keep to schedules and provide factory direct materials as well. It is better to go with one contractor in my experience.
