I have choosen to use a True Type Font named Flux Architect, is looks good in Labels and in final accepted form.

However when I insert a text note and then go back to edit the text for whatever reason, the letters show up as boxes making it hard to know what your editing. See attached screen shot.

Anyone have any ideas why it is turn letters to boxes?

My first impression is you've got a defective font file. Perhaps a font that was converted to TTF from a different format (shx, shp).

If it only happen with that one font then . . . . . you've got a bad font.

It seems to work for all other inserts, like Labels without issue.

I wonder if anyone else has any ideas. I will try to reload a new downloaded copy of the font and see if it makes a difference. I will post a update if it does.

@dgcad, I did reload another copy of the text font from a different source and still behaves the same way when text box is selected for editing.

Anyone???

Try the font in word and see what happens.

I have the same issue with this font in Revit 2013.   Its so close to what we want to use but this square thing is killing it.

Also wanted to use Handsf single but that has a licensing issue with PDF.  Its locked out.  I am doing my best not to suggest

ARchitxt or Arial as a main font.
