Im using Revit Architecture and i need to make a green roof for a library. But im not sure how to make a green roof. Any help at all would be awesome. Im a student in Highschool so please try to explain the best you can

I looked at those other threads but they didnt really explain very well of what i was meaning. and by green roof i mean a roof that has grass and trees growing into it i need to know how to put to gether the layers of the roof or just in general how to make it so there is a roof with grass and trees growing on it

That is not a Revit issue, it is a knowledge issue. Do some research on what the requirements are for "grren" roofs in your location.

Keep in mind that the Revit is just like paper and pencil in the old days. Just like WWHub said, it’s a knowledge issue. Actually, it’s a very good opportunity for you to do some research and thinking. You can imagine that if you want to build a real one by your own hand.
The knowledge you need to accumulate are:
1. What is the minimum thickness of soil to grow grass and trees.
2. How to keep the water not leaking through the roof.
3. How and what material to hold the dirt in place.
4. …….
The list can go on forever. At a point you feel that the knowledge you have are enough within your time constrain. Then it is the time to use pencil to drawing it on the paper, which now is Revit.

I have figured out that stuff but the problem is that i dont know how to put it all together. I am useing revit for school and i just needed some extra help because the way the teacher explained it doesnt make sence

You just have to modify a roof, adding layers at required thickness and with assigned materials for what you need. So if you have problems, come back with this information. Layers - thickness & materials.
