Ok,

I've spent the better part of two days trying to figure this out, I am working on a nested door family for my office and came to a stoping point.  the problem I am having is that after I nest my door panel into the Host family I can't get it to flex with the frame, so if the door size changes in the project the frame will adjust and the panel will remain the same size as when it was inserted.  I have looked into origin points and I dont understand that to well so I am not sure if thats my problem.  Can someone please help?

Thanks in advance.

Arturo

I did not open family.

Do you have parameters for the nested family that are controlled by parameters in the host family?  Please read similar threads.

In your nested door change your width parameter to be by Instance instead of type.
