I'm trying to create the roof in the attached image. I created the curved part by extension, and the straight hip part by footprint, but I can't figure out how to merge or join them and cut the overhang off? Any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

Oh, and I'm using Revit Architecture 2013. I found some old tutorials using blend sweeps and such, but they are outdated versons and I can't seem to figure out if thats the best way to attempt this.

Thanks!

You can add an in-place void family to cut the roof.

Roofs can be joined but that may not be everything you need.

In place-mass, draw two arcs, and two lines. Select arcs, create form; select arc and line, create form, on both sides. Finish mass, do Roof by face.
